So much of my own path, and the many lives I have lived in this one, have been about having embodied experiences that have allowed me to meet my real self — the wild, authentic self, beyond acculturation, conditioning, trauma & wounding. Supporting others in this process brings me great joy.
I come from a long line of Baptist pastors and missionaries, spending much of my early years as a church musician, while intending to enter the ministry myself. My coming out as a queer and embracing of my nomadic tendencies and wanderlust, I embarked upon a journey of self-discovery, that took me to a long life as an expat in central Europe, and wearing various hats — publisher, designer, English teacher, journalist, and entrepreneur.
Mid-life found me back in the States working in advertising and Big Tech as a UX designer and strategist. A combination of deep unhealed wounding and existential crises led me to the shadowy spaces of drug addiction and self-harm. At or near rock bottom, I was fortunate to discover plant medicine, and with a deep immersion in this work, found healing and my true purpose and passion — to be of ministry to others wanting to heal.
I have studied and apprenticed in the Umbandaime tradition of Brazil and the Bwiti tradition of West Africa. A life-long student and participant of personal development and psychology, I hold certifications in life and transformational coaching, and alchemy as a tool for personal transformation. I have also trained in shamanic practices, energy work, and ritual.
My approach is devotional and animistic in orientation, somatically-aware, trauma-informed, inclusive-based, consent-focused, and tradition-honoring. I bring my deep love of music, beauty, deep joy, and good-humored wisdom to moments of supporting others in finding their own healing and wholeness.
PRONOUNS: he/him
All of my works stems from a deep commitment to be of sacred service, helping liberate all beings from suffering, wounding, and a misbelief in separation.
I am dedicated to using the privileges I carry to create equitable access to this work. As a white, middle-class, able-bodied being with cis- and hetero-passing privileges, I am deeply committed to honoring indigenous traditions and historically marginalized communities. I offer pay-what-you-can pricing for members of the BIPOC, Trans & Non-Binary, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. A part of all proceeds go to local land reparation funds, communities of color in the plant medicine space, and to indigenous and native tribes in the Amazon and Africa.
“I can’t recommend Will and his mindful, loving approach highly enough as he has guided me to my new life. If there is just one thing that you can do to truly help heal yourself, make this choice.”
— Will S, Data Architect, Colorado
